You must start vaping, and then sometimes faulty vaping occurs, in which case you must be making some mistake with your vape. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, you will find this guideline helpful to have a more enjoyable vape and a longer life for the equipment.

Using wrong equipment/settings.

These common issues include a tank not producing vapor at all or burnt coils.

Such tanks are not usually the problem, though; rather, the problem has more to do with the device you are setting it up with or with using the wrong power settings.

Every vape coil needs a minimum amount of power to heat it up and then give off its vapor.

The trick lies there: Always use the correct settings for your device. If a device is incapable of delivering enough power, the coil is never heated well. Check the recommended wattages for each coil to avoid this. This is written in the Nerd Fire Vape or Nerd Alien Vape packaging.

The suspicion of choosing the wrong type of liquid is the next.

Nicotine salts and regular 10ml e-liquids have a VG level of about 50:50 or less, which works quite well in bigger coil holes with a lesser VG percentage. These coils are traditionally (but not always) higher resistance, so you will want to pair them with a lower wattage device, which means pod-style or starter kits.

Generals:

For example:

  • Higher VG VG: PG 70: 30 and above with lower-resistance coils & Higher-powered devices.
  • Lower VG, VG: PG 50:50- use on higher-resistance coils & with a lower-powered device.

Under/overfilling

This is the element that fills your vape kit with the e-liquid for vaporization. Therefore, it is very important to fill it up appropriately.

If the tank is improperly filled or there are low levels of e-liquid because of low tank levels, the coil will not get sufficiently saturated and instead undergo ‘dry hits’ and burnt ones.

The other is not filling it up entirely, as it can fill up the coil and contribute to spit back. Fill it about 90% full, and it forms a good enough coverage, leaving the coil saturated but without any of these issues.

Vaping non-stop

Now that you’ve installed your coil and filled your tank, you’re ready to have a hit! But wait several minutes before lighting up your device. Firing it up right away can burn the coil, waste it and give you a pretty horrible experience.

To avoid this, the coil should be well saturated with e-liquid for a couple of minutes, 5-10, depending on the liquid. It needs to soak adequately before use.

Overtightening

It is not recommended to overtighten your coils in the tank or keep bending down your tanks onto your mod. Not only will it make removing and detaching the coils and tank pretty difficult, but overtightening can also damage the coils themselves.

To solve the problem, screw the tank into the device until secure, then stop and do not force it further.

Faulty Storage

It should be stored in a perpendicular or vertical position. If you lay the mod down while charging it, unplug the charger and keep the tanks upright.

In short:

If you own any of these new offerings, such as the nerd fire vape or nerd alien vape, and take a few precautions, such as letting the e-liquids soak before shooting and not taking them ultra-long, the chances of encountering these issues will all but disappear.

It is up to you, whether you are an experienced vaper or a newbie, to learn about your device.

The vape tank will give you the proper satisfaction for your money and flavors for an extended period.
